So this Boyzone section will be somewhat different, it won't be about Boyzone, but about " *C�line* and Boyzone " which is completely different ! :o)
I have been a Boyzone fan for the past 5 years and YES , I'm not ashamed to say it, even living in France, a country in which they've never been really successful...
Boyzone is a boyband composed of 5 Irish lads . They got together in november 1993 after an audtion for basically the "Irish response to Take That" and have become one of the biggest band worldwide, whether you accept it or not , it's only a fact ! How many bands have achieved 4 number one albums, 15 top 3 singles including 6 number 1's , dozens of sell-out tours all over the world and countless awards of all kinds , including the prestigious Ivor Novello award that Ronan Keating got for writing Picture Of You, and the Biggest Selling Record Of the Year 1998 for No Matter What. All this in no more than 7 years ...
Add to this cooperations with people such as Madonna's producers, the Bee Gees, U2, Bryan Adams, Elton John, Luciano Pavarotti ... A song on the soundtrack of the comedy movie Bean ( with famour British comedy actor Ronan Atkinson ) Breaking records has become a habit for the band ...

I became a BZ fan in april 1996... I was reading one of those silly teen girls' magazines that my mother didn't want me to even touch , and I found this interview with Stephen Gately ... Pretty attractive young guy .... The questions were remarkably ridiculous but I thought this guy was rather clever in the way he managed to answer something interesting and funny to questions such as " are you a good kisser ? " or " Do you wear underwear more than one day without washing them ?" .... :oD Anyway, the name Stephen Gately from Boyzone remained at the back of my head and I asked around me at school if anyone had heard anything about Boyzone! I even mentionned it to my English teacher !!! Mrs Mercader at the time ...!! I had no shame ! ;o) Anyway she kindly offered to ask her son about it and to see if she could find a fanclub or something ... But saddly her ignorant son had never heard about Boyzone ... !!! And one day ... Tuning into one of the most "average" French radio station ( yes you guessed it : NRJ !) I heard Love Me For A Reason, which was I think, Boyzone's second single to be released in France . What can I say, I was young and romantic (which I still am, but it was worse at the time !) and ... Well I just LOVED the song !!!! So that was it : I was a Boyzone fan !
As my birthday was coming up shortly , I asked for the album, I got it, I loved it, and that was it : Boyzone had become to first thing on my mind 24 7 for the next 2 or 3 years !!!
