This Datsun 510 SSS race car is owned, built and raced by Tony Kerkhof. He has just finnished his debut season
in a very respectable fifth place in the 2 liter class in New Zealand's SS2000 championship.

SS2000 is a rapidly growing class here in New Zealand which pits you up against all sorts of machinery, old and new. Here's Tony

Powered by an extensively modified twin cam, 16 valve, SR18, the light weight Datsun has got some pretty serious speed. On the
cards for next season is the larger SR20 which should see the car pumping out around 240hp!

Tony getting a little carried away with his Willwood front brakes! He's running crossdrilled discs with nice
light weight four piston aluminium calipers on the front with a late model Nissan Bluebird disc setup at the rear.
