The Cat. He walked by himself, and all places were alike to him.
- Rudyard Kipling, The Cat Who Walked By Himself, Just So Stories, 1902.
Like many other fans I like to write my own pieces of Who fiction. The format I have chosen is the novella as it is more detailed and rounded than a short story and obviously less work than a novel. It can still pretty much be read in one sitting and adapted for other purposes. I write for enjoyment and to (hopefully) entertain. All my stories relate in some way to the era of the 6th Doctor, which I consider to have begun with the arrival of Peri and ended with the departure of Mel.
