Hi, my name is Kyron Mallett and I am about the most fanatical 6th Doctor fan in the entire universe! Colin Baker played the Doctor in the BBC Science Fiction serial Doctor Who between 1984 and 1986. During the era of the 6th Doctor, the show saw the creation of such timeless characters as Sil, The Rani, Glitz, the Vervoids - as well as obligatory appearances by the Cybermen, Sontarans, Daleks and of course, The Master. Accompanied by his companions Peri (Nicola Bryant) and later Mel (Bonnie Langford), Colin Baker portrayed the cat-like but distinctively heroic "alien" Doctor.
Colin has continued to be enthusiastic about the role he loved. He took over from Jon Pertwee in the stage show production Doctor Who The Ultimate Adventure in 1989. He was the first (and only?) actor who portrayed The Doctor to write who fiction. Colin also took part in the charity special Dimensions in Time, presented Cybermen The Early Years and The Colin Baker Years. The list goes on!
The persona of the 6th Doctor continues to be developed in numerous novels and in conjunction with Colin in a new series of audio adventures. In a 2001 Doctor Who Magazine Poll, Colin was voted the greatest Doctor of the audio plays!
