There once was a great war. This war was called the Bright Fires of Good and Evil. It referred to when the good dragons and the evil dragons fought together. These dragon were mostly made of great fire breathing dragons that could fly and fight very well. Because of that, the good dragons overcame the evil dragons. The Sacred Fires are in the sacred area around the Volcano of the Dragons. There was a great counsel and the counsel had heard of a great prophecy that told of the great evil dragons coming back if the Sacred Fires were ever put out. So they all decided to keep a guardian to watch over the fires always. The counsel decided on a powerful fire faery named Faelayana. Her name is hard to pronounce, but here is a guide. Fay - la - e - on - ah. Her friends call her Faela for short though.
Although she loved being with the fire spirits, she longed for a different kind of companion. She wished most of all she could have a dragon. She brought her thoughts to the counsel and they all agreed that she could have a dragon. Though she wouldn't have it at the moment she would recieve it in time. She offered many gifts and weapons to make sure she would recieve a warrior red fire dragon from the Keltic Dragon Weyr.
