This website is a school project for a basic website for a fictional cybersecurity company providing a brief overview of information security.
To create this site, I had to think of a fictional company so I chose cybersecurity because of my personal and professional interest of the subject.
I decided to opt for a simple color scheme that isn't bright and flashy to maintain a professional
look-and-feel throughout the site. Background images make up a large percentage of each page with a little information at the bottom
of each page to try and draw the target customer into setting up an appointment with the company to evaluate their current security posture.
I have noticed this similar type of design with many IT companies I have encountered throughout my career.
Given more time and resources, I would have liked to implement some scripting to cycle the
background images periodically, given users a questionnaire to fill out with immediate
feedback about their current security posture or the posture of their organization.
Because this is a web design class and my focus on this project was the layout and design,
the information presented is very basic, and in the future I would like to incorporate my
knowledge of computer security more in-depth to present a more educational experience for the user.
