Rockne ,Tx. Goertz Ranch. 1st race of the new season on my new bike. I GOT THE HOLESHOT!!!!! What a difference a bike can make. This bike flat out rips! I did not crash. Not even close. I fell back as far as 4th but worked back into 3rd place which was where I finished. I was stuck behind a slower rider from a different class for 5 miles on my second lap. After finally passing him(I out braked him in a corner) I closed in on the second place guy quite a bit but ran out of time. One lap was 8 miles and I did 3 laps in the hour. Track conditions were great. No mud, no dust, just very moist dirt. I rode home in my riding pants and shirt since I was very clean. INJURIES: None

San Angelo, Tx. Toe Nail Creek(or something like that) 2nd race. I drove 470 miles one way to get here. I finished fourth and was lucky to get that. I messed up the start pretty bad. First, I let the bike idle too long on the start line and it overheated. I let it cool down but it did not start when the flag when up, it took three kicks. There were two other riders that did not start either. I was 9th going down the starting straight and I caught up and passed number 8 right at the first corner. It was then that the almighty Honda brakes really worked. I locked up the front wheel in the grease(that is my story anyway) and down I went. Took about 10-15 seconds to get it started and going but by then number 10 and 11 passed me. This track was 14 miles a lap and was fast. I was pinned in 5th gear at least three times per lap. The guy(F27) who got second at Goertz also finished ahead of me this race in third. I know who he is now. I nice man named Brad. I think we will have a nice rivalry this season. He is second in the points and I am third.. INJURIES: many small scraps on my right forearm and elbow. white line fever from the drive.

Thorndale, Tx 3rd Race. I finished 3rd. I started third. I am third in the standings. I was behind Brad, again, but I owned him today. I passed him three times but then would proceed to do something stupid. I killed it once at the scoring line, and crashed twice right after passing him. I guess I got too excited. The track was very tight woods with very limited areas to pass. I spent most of the day in first and second gear. My third crash was a good(bad) one. I had just passed Brad for third time and down I went. I was in third gear going fairly fast and fell on my right side. Brad stopped because he thought I broke a collarbone. I said I was ok and he took off never thinking I would catch him again. I was hurting but I caught him with about 1 mile to go but could not get around him. Great race on a great track. The rivalry is most definitely heating up. Both of us caught up to the first palce guy. We finished 9 seconds apart for the three of us. INJURIES: Big bruise on right thigh, road rash on right lower back, numerous cuts and scrapes on arms from trees
