Bastrop, Tx Rathmans ranch, fourth race. Not a great day for Terminator but not a bad day. I finished fifth. I started, you guessed it, third again. I crashed in the fourth corner of the start and of course was last after I got it going again. I am starting to see a terrible pattern here. I had a bad crash during practice the day before and banged up my wrist and knee pretty hard. I managed to work back through the pack but could not get anything going. I just felt slow. Guys that I have been in front of on other races were now formidable opponents. My yearlong nemesis Brad finished first putting me substantially behind in points. I should never have made that "owning" comment last race write-up because he owned all of us this race. I am still third but a good bit behind 2nd and 1st. The track was very tight and dry and my bike just felt loose all race. It was after the race(and a few beers) that I noticed the front tire was flat. Ahhh, a useable excuse for my pitiful outing!
INJURIES: knee, wrist, and a monster bruise on my right side.
