The information you read about here will provide you a picture of me, Kathryn Yacoumakis, and what my focus is as a special educator teaching integrated lessons in geography, science, math,and language arts. In addition, being a high school teacher, I will touch on areas of career investigation and life skills.
Geography is my favorite subject area. I speak Greek as well as English and some Spanish and French. Travelling the world is an aspiration, but having the Internet is the second best means of staying informed about the world.
Another medium that is extremely helpful is public radio programming. You may find links to several of these resources on this site.
