James
Chapter
5
{Verses
1-6 - A Trip with a reversionist wealthy believer}
1~~Ah
come on now {idiom},
you
rich ones burst into weeping
and
continue screaming over your miseries coming upon you.
{Note:
Wealth here is used as one example of what both men and women relate
to happiness. This is a rich believer in reversionism who has no
capacity for happiness.}
2~~Your
riches have become rotted {soul is rotted not the gold!}. And your
outer garments have become moth-eaten.
{Note:
Details of life are not permanent. The only thing you can take with
you to heaven is doctrine in your soul.}
3~~Your
gold and silver have been tarnished.
And
the rust {venom of the soul} of them
shall
exist for evidence against you.
And
it shall eat your pieces of flesh
{anything that is your idea of happiness}.
Like
a fire . . .
you
have accumulated treasure for the crisis days {of catastrophe}.
4~~Behold,
the wages of the workers who harvested your fields.
The
ones having been defrauded from the source of YOU . . .
keep
screaming.
And
the screams of the ones having harvested
have
entered into the ears of the Lord of the Armies.
{Note:
The rich man in reversionism is stealing from his workers who maybe
trusted him because he is a 'Christian'. And, the verse implies that
when reversionists commit fraud on a great scale, God is ready to
give punishment in terms of great national tragedy.}
5~~You
have lived in self-indulgence and luxury on the earth.
And
you have been a sensual voluptuary.
You
have fattened your right lobes with pleasures . . .
as
in a day of slaughter {implies revolution - tragedy}.
{Note:
This is like fattening a cow . . . to get it ready for the
slaughter house.}
6~~You
have condemned the innocent and have murdered the just. And he does
not oppose you.
{Note:
The victim here is not reacting against the rich reversionist - he
knows the battle is the Lord's. Yet by holding back his wages the
rich man may be condemning the innocent man and his family even to
death - certainly to financial troubles. This paragraph implies that
in reality the rich man here is destroying himself.}
{Verses
7-8 What God can accomplish when you let Him give you Happiness -
Solution to Reversionism}
7~~Have
patience {allow doctrine to work} . . .
therefore,
members of the family of God . . .
until
the coming of the Lord.
Behold
{re-focus your attention} . . .
the
capitalist farmer waits with expectation
for
the valuable production of the land
{analogous to the fruits of doctrine in the soul} . . .
constantly
being patient over it until he has received the early
{believer progressing in early spiritual life} . . .
and
latter {in or near SuperGrace prosperity} rains.
{Note:
The Happiness of God in time is in the Super Grace
life
. . . the capacity to enjoy what God provides you in Grace.}
8~~Have
patience . . .
you
all also have stability in your right lobes . . .
because
the coming of the Lord {rapture}
has
approached with the result that it keeps on drawing nearer.
9~~Stop
criticizing against others of the same kind . . .
members
of the family of God . . .
that
you not be judged.
Behold
. . . the judge {the critic - God}
stands
in the past with the result
that
He keeps standing before the door.
{Verses
10-11 is a Parenthetical clause}
10-11~~(Members
of the family of God . . .
receive
an example of endurance in suffering and patience
{spending doctrine in time of adversity} . . .
the
prophets who have communicated doctrine
in
the name of the Lord.
11~~Behold
. . . we consider happy/congratulate {makarizo} the ones having
endured!
You
have heard . . . through bible teaching . . .
of
the endurance {patience} of Job
and
have seen the end from the Lord
{brought back to prosperity}
because
the Lord keeps on being very compassionate
and
merciful.)
{Note:
Makarizo means to count someone happy or to 'congratulate' them. In
Greek congratulate means to recognize a person's happiness.}
{Back
to Verse 9 thought - He {Jesus} stands before the door knocking}
12~~And
more important, before all things . . .
my
brethren . . .
stop
making lying promises fronted with an oath . . .
neither
by heaven {example: "As God is my witness"} . . .
neither
by the earth {I swear on my mother's grave} . . .
neither
by any other oath {I swear on a stack of bibles} . . .
but
be HONEST
{idiom - literally says 'let your yes be yes and your no, no'} . . .
that you fall not under judgment.
{Another
Parenthetical Clause}
13~~(Is
any among you {Super Grace types}
suffering
adversity?
Keep
offering prayer.
Is
anyone of you having a ball?
Keep
singing in the ecstasy of the moment
with
full possession of your mental capacity
{not in a drunken state}.)
14~~
Anyone among you sick?
Suffering
from hopeless disease?
Let
him call to himself the Pastor-teacher {presbuteros}
of
the church . . .
and,
having received medical therapy to no avail . . .
let
them {plural} begin to offer a prayer
{a specific prayer solely for the reversionist}
over
him in the name of the Lord.
{Note:
Their right pastor-teacher is the one whose authority they rejected
in reversionism. The person in reversionism is so deep in that he is
near the sin unto death. At this state, rebound no longer works and
he can not pray for himself. He must go to the one he rejected for help.}
{Note:
Presbuteros in Greek is often translated 'elders'. It really means
the top guy. The one in authority at the church. The reversionists
'right pastor-teacher' whose teaching he has rejected. In Greek it is
in the plural because it matches the case of 'anyone among you' which
is plural, but concept is one for each one.}
15~~And
the prayer from the source
of
the doctrinal one {his right Pastor}
shall
deliver the hopelessly sick one
{reversionist is under sin unto death, then turns positive
by calling his Pastor} . . .
and
the Lord shall restore him to health
{and in so doing, recognizing the authority He gave the local
Pastor}.
And
if he has produced permanent sin - and he did -
from
his own free will - they shall be forgiven by Him.
16~~Therefore
{repentant reversionist},
acknowledge
the sin to another
{acknowledge the sin against the pastor-teacher who has been
victimized directly to him}.
And
{Pastor-teacher} offer prayer of behalf of the other . . .
that
you {repentant reversionist} may be healed.
The
prayer of a righteous believer
has
much, much power . . . WHEN IT IS OPERATIONAL.
{Note:
From versus 9 and 12, we can see here that 'the sin' is limited to
the case of reversionism where the reversionist has committed verbal
sins against his Right Pastor and has become sick. This is an
exception to the rule where believer priests are to confess their own
sins directly to God only - privacy of the priesthood.}
{From
I Kings Chapter 17-18 - example of National reversionism}
17~~Eliah
. . . a human being . . .
kept
on being similar to us in feelings, circumstances, and pressures.
And by means of prayer,
he
began to pray not to send rain {warning discipline}
and
it did not rain on the land {of Israel}
for
three years and six months.
18~~And
he finished his prayer {started 3 1/2 years ago},
and
the heaven gave rain,
and
the land germinated, sprouted,
and
produced her production {economic prosperity}.
19-20~~
My brethren {believers in the Lord Jesus} . . .
if
any one among you has been seduced
and
has wandered away from The doctrine
-
and a large number will -
and
someone turns him around {restores him} . . . 20~~
keep
knowing that the one having turned him around
from
the delusion of his way
shall
deliver a soul from death {sin unto death} . . .
and
cover a large number of sins.
