This outrageous game earns every last point of its Mature rating, with enough violence and questionable content to make a teamster blush. However, the main attraction doesn't lie in GT3's shocking subject matter. The game itself has earned high marks from around the industry despite its content. The gameplay is simply outstanding, with different cars handling and sounding differently, pedestrians and drivers directly reacting to your actions, and hordes of police in pursuit as soon as you break the law. The enormous cities and environments offer hours and hours of exploration, and the mission-based storyline is deep and involving. This first generation PS2 game may not be for kiddies, but it is a must buy for anyone who's ever dreamed of living without a conscience.
