Creative Outpost
Well let me tell you about the class: I have attended Creative Writing class with Mr. Bernard for the past nine months, and there I have experienced a creative experience like only a few others. In the time of the class we spent a ton of time on poetry, and although I was no fan of it before I have grown to enjoy some parts of it. I think I have learned that packing poetry with sense responsive stuff makes it seem better, but if it is metephorical it is almost sweet. On to me now: There are three kids in my family. I am the youngest. Growing up with two older brothers has tought me a lot in life, but that has all been wasted on school. Ever since Kindergarten my ingenuity has dwindled into a very uncreative person hardened to the grueling barrage of school work, schedules, and getting an A. Things that make me want to write are such things as to make the world more interesting, fill people's minds with adventure and hope of a really fun life, and stretch my imagination to stay a kid forever. Also bringing up the provocative mysteries that are best pondered over than forgotten is very peaceful to write about. Honestly though, I just like writing for the fact that people can make anything happen in stories. Stories can take you away from your little desk at school for example. They can have you sailing through the distant world of Atlantis fighting off villains and wiping sea spray from your face, or you could have children traveling through wardrobes into a mysterious worlds like Narnia. And hobbits expeditioning with dwarves to adventure in the realm of a dragons, orcs, and oliphants like The Lord of the Rings, you name it and it can happen in a book.
