About DZ
What's New
Delta Zeta's national philanthropy is Speech and Hearing.  Delta Zetas work to promote hearing health in their local communities as well as through fundraising which benefits many different organizations.

Gallaudet University
is the only four-year liberal arts college for the hearing impaired in the world.  Delta Zeta has endowed the Delta Zeta Scholarship Fund and the Fine Arts Endowment Fund as Gallaudet University, in addition to providing annual scholarships to Gallaudet University.

House Ear Institute is known for its medical research in the area of hearing loss.  Delta Zetas provided the necessary funding to build a Parents' Resource Library at the facility, and have given funds for research and clinical services in the Children's Auditory and Research Center at the Institute.

Delta Zeta is embarking on a new nation-wide campaign to raise awareness of the need for
infant hearing screenings.

Delta Zetas also support the
Delta Zeta Foundation through individual and chapter contributions.  The Foundation provides support to the Sorority by providing scholarships for initiated members in good standing who have demonstrated academic excellence and/or financial need, and leadership training opportunities for our members.  In addition, the Foundation provides Hearing Help Grants to local speech and hearing programs/organizations.
