Radio Kurtodrome 58: Club 3VOOR12 special
Last week the VPRO broadcast the last Club 3VOOR12 of this season. Which seemed like a good time to show you why it's imperative for you to listen (or watch) the show when it returns in September. Just imagine that every week you'll hear/watch three live performances by three completely different bands (from quiet to loud). For some reason a theme show with four quieter concerts seemed like a good idea, so enjoy The American Analog Set, Kings of Convenience, Under Byen and Broken Social Scene.
THE AMERICAN ANALOG SET - Live in Club 3VOOR12 - 02/06/04 (18 min)
Most of the band protested against the singer's decision to call themselves The Anti-American Analog Set, so it's still American. And it's still excellent.

KINGS OF CONVENIENCE - live in Club 3VOOR12 - 09/06/04 (18 min)
Personally, we prefer Erland ye when he's around Erik Glambek Be. Check out the duo's new album, Riot on an Empty Street.

UNDER BYEN - Live in Club 3VOOR12 - 23/06/04 (20 min)
Before the session the host of Club 3VOOR12 called Under Byen a bit overrated. Hear why he changed his mind in just twenty minutes. Meanwhile, when we at the Kurtodrome think of Denmark, we think of The Raveonettes and Under Byen. Belgian surfers should take notice Under Byen will perform at the Cactus Festival on July 9.

BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE - Live in Club 3VOOR12 23/06/04 (26 min)
A Canadian collective of nine, Broken Social Scene weren't known to us. Hear why they'll be back in future episodes. The next future episode will appear in a day or ten.
