DOMINO FESTIVAL SPECIAL
It feels like ages since the last 'normal' Radio Kurtodrome. Maybe next time... now we have more important things to do: promoting the Domino festival, the Ancienne Belgique's yearly tradition of selecting the most interesting bands in the outskirts of the music industry. Well, that's how they phrase it anyway. Ten days of music, exhibitions and DJs. What more would you want? Oh, the dates. Okay, April 7 to April 16. As mentioned, Domino takes place in the Ancienne Belgique (which you'll find in the heart of Brussels, Belgium) For more details, visit their website. The only thing we will do is walk you through all the bands and highlight some of the performances the Radio Kurtodrome way.
We abandoned the usual plan of selecting 30 minutes of good music. This time we browsed the artists' sites in search of audio proof. If we skip bands, we either don't like them or (likelier) they don't have songs (songs, not samples, okay?!) on their sites. We had to abandon our plan to tell you more about the acts (we tried, but that made this page very hard to read, so for more info we will just have to refer you to the AB site). However, we didn't abandon the courtesy of mentioning which tracks are downloadable: as the updated version of the alphabet will probably tell you, (D) is for download.
