Radio Kurtodrome 18
Conversation with self
"You're late, Radio Kurtodrome should've been online since yesterday.
- I know.
"And were you thinking about updating it?"
- Yes, but it's not like I've been online this week, let alone discover new songs.
"So? Some editions you had these live sessions. You could go to the VPRO site again and find a few other concerts."
- Wouldn't that sound like a cheap rip-off? It's only been a month since we did that for the first time.
"Not if you'd select concerts by artists who have new albums out. Like Das Pop, you can't find an MP3, so a concert would be nice. It wouldn't sound the same, but it's better than nothing. And Richard Thompson... didn't you say that was a good show?"
- Yes.
"See, we're getting there. So let's make Radio Kurtodrome another live special..."

DAS POP - Club Lek concert Feb 26 2003
The Belgian pop combo play songs (incl. singles "Telephone Love" and "You" as first and last songs) from their second album "The Human Thing". Not as poppy as the songs from their debut, but objects of beauty nonetheless. (23 min)

RICHARD THOMPSON - Club Lek concert Feb 19 2003
Marvellous concert by the legendary Richard Thompson (29 min) Songs: Gethsamane, Crawl Back, God Loves A Drunk, I Misunderstood, Love You Can't Survive, I Want To See The Bright Lights Tonight

BARBARA MORGENSTERN - Club Lek concert Mar 12 2003
The second appearance of this German artist at Radio Kurtodrome. In edition 13 we played one of her new songs, now we give you 15 minutes and 32 seconds of live footage.
