November 7th 2004: Time has just been flying by! I am now 22 weeks, 2 days pregnant. This little boy is really starting to get active, so its all so much more real than before.

Kurt and I went registry shopping the weekend before last. It was a lot of fun! Even though we have a lot of the basics (crib, playpen, changing table, and swing) I forgot how expensive things like a bedding set and stroller are! We were able to save some things from Ethan, but with the amount of walking Kurt does with the kids, that stroller, etc. was history! To visit the registry click here http://www.amazon.com/o/registry/3J3RY8DR6VKB  Full registry will be on baby's

main page, or click here

We're still working on names, but we're hoping to have it settled at least a month before his arrival.

I'm starting to feel a LOT better now too. I was so sick again with this pregnancy, so I requested blood tests to be done once again.... I was severely iron deficient. After a few days of taking an iron supplement, as well as finally accepting the anti-nausea medication from my doctor, I feel like a new person!

Oh! There was so many more things I wanted to talk about on this webpage and I can hardly remember any of them. But when I do, Ill be sure to include them. Pictures will be coming soon after we re-install the camera's software too.

November 16, 2004: Two more weeks have passed. Wow! Time flies. The nausea is a hundred times better. I'm very thankful for that. This little boy

seems to think I am a trampoline now. He loves to bounce! Baby gets the hiccups quite often just like Ethan did.

At the last OB visit (which was a last minute thing), I had lost 5 pounds, but the baby is doing great. I'm measuring perfectly, and baby's heartbeat is 150 bpm. I think he is still laying on his side, facing to my right, since that's what the Ultrasound tech said, and he is always on my left whenever the doc checks the heartbeat.

Off topic, but Princess Ashley's 12th birthday is on Thanksgiving day,

November 25th! I cant believe next year she'll be a teenager! Her party is this Saturday with her friends.

Back to the be'be'.... At my OB appt last week I was put on "light duty", and only to work 20 hours per week. I work full days on Monday and Friday, and just 4 hours on Wednesday. I officially started this today. It's Tuesday, and I got to have it off! It's been very nice, and I have to admit, these BH contractions slow down a lot when I'm not stressing out at work. My next OB appt is this Friday the 19th, so we'll see if this part-time work schedule will

continue temporarily or indefinitely through the pregnancy. There is a good chance that at some point here I'll be put on bed rest again. Unfortunately my accrued PTO time won't last long enough if that happens. Hopefully, my uterus and back fights so I can work until at least January. That's my hope anyway. After that, I'll stay home, care for the kids, and get ready for baby #3! I'm confident it will all work out well.

November 25, 2004: Thanksgiving was good this year for us. We hope is was for you too! It was also Ashley's B-day (see party pics HERE) .

I had my 24 week OB check last Friday, November 19th. Baby is measuring perfectly, and seems to be doing very well. I however, was put part-time work for the duration of my pregnancy. I'm still pretty sick. Nausea, exhaustion, etc has seem to just creep right back up on me. Not as bad as before, but its still annoying! The contrx seem to not be as bad since I've been working only part-time... I just realized this! That's great!

The baby is active all the time now. It's pretty neat. The kids like to watch my belly jump all over the place. Were starting to get ready for his arrival!

December 19, 2004:I am now just over 28 weeks pregnant. There was so many things I wanted to make sure I put in this page, but my memory has shrunk! Christmas is less than 1 week away, and the kids are really excited! Ashley had

her first flute concert 2 weeks ago while Kurt's mother was in town. It was wonderful! She is really doing well musically. Ethan has a bit of a cold right now. Besides being obsessed with Santa, he just plays all day long! Kurt is busy looking for a new job. I'm sure that will fix itself soon. Me? I'm just here. Tired, and sore, and trying to keep headaches away. Its not so bad. Its only when I have a really difficult day, like yesterday, that they all seem to feel like they're bad.

The  baby is moving a lot, which is good. At least he doesn't favor being in my

ribs just yet! He is getting to be a little bit heavy now, but that's not bad either. I'm still working, but I really don't think that will last much longer at all.

Names, names, names. That is a big thing in my mind right now. Kurt and I still aren't sure. I like Connor, Devon, and Graham as far as names that Kurt and I agree on. There are more names I just love, but none that we can both be satisfied with. I really would like this child to have a name when he enters the world, unlike Ethan and Ashley who were each 2 days old.                  .

What will your name be little one? Will you look just like your brother like we think you will? I look at your ultrasound pictures and compare them to Ethan's. You look identical!

I know you will have the best brother and sister you could imagine. I hope you will be born healthy. PLEASE be healthy. I hope you will sleep as good as Ethan did during those few few weeks of life. I hope you will be in the mid-7 pound range like Ethan and Ashley was too!   =o)

January 22, 2005: Everything went well again. Baby is doing great, as am I!
I feel so much better since Im not working!

The babys heartbeat was in the high 130's. Im measuring right on. He is still breech. She wants me to go in for yet ANOTHER ultrasound, then she wants me to come in in the next week (and every week after that) for a non-stress test as well. If the baby doesnt turn by 2 weeks she wants to try a manual version *shudder*. She still plans on taking the baby early, which im not thrilled with, but were not there yet so Im not fighting it yet! lol I did ask if we could try something other than pitocin to start labor if it really does come to that (I really hated being induced with Ashley.. I didnt do well laboring for so long strapped to a bed). She said we could try breaking my water. But Id rather try stripping the membranes or taking blue cohosh again (they worked last time)!

Oh guess what else! I get to stop one of my blood pressure meds! I was on them because my BP went up so high as a side effect from another med I was on (long story). Since I discontinued them when I got pregnant, by BP's "have been that of a teenagers". YAY! One less thing to worry about...

Im just so glad Im not working full time still. It was getting really hard with all the appts they have me going to (OB appt, reg Dr. appt, cardio, phys therapy, labs), now im a lot happier, and I get to take Ethan to the park and library, etc. Yes, Im still a bit tired and anemic, and Im still wearing a heart monitor, but it doesnt even seem as bad since I dont have to force all this work out of myself!

January 30, 2005: Ethan has started going to a music and story time, and he is starting a tumbling and music class too. I take him to the park and the library. I cant believe how well he does on the computer now (I totally suggest I Spy Junior!!), he only needed my help the first 10 minutes or so, then he was off! Ashley is in school and after school activities a lot, but its nice having time with her more often too. Going back to work 2 years ago made me realize how much I was missing. Im really glad this all happened so I can be with them more.

Thursday I had yet another growth ultrasound. I went great! Baby is still breech, but is in the 53% almost all around, weighing over 5 pounds now! They couldnt see any hair like she "usually could at this stage of pregnancy", then I told her I give birth to toe heads. Basically blonde almost bald babies is a good way to describe them LOL You should see the US pics i got this time! Click HERE to see them.. You will need the password though "baby".

I went to my 34 week OB appt Friday. Again, everything is going well. The fact that I stopped the beta blocker has made my headaches come back though. I am measuring just great, and OH! I forgot to mention this last time, but instead of losing at my last two appointments, I am now gaining. 5 pounds now. Two of them in the last week *gulp* No biggie though, I cant gain that much more since there isnt that much time left! =o) No swelling whatsoever, no protein in the urine, his heart rate was about 160 this time too.

Since this lil boy is still breech she said in 2 weeks we are going to make a decision if he still hasnt turned. If she thinks its safe and can be done she will try a manual version then see how things go from there. Thats how the second option came about... I asked what the chances are of him just turning back into a breech position even if the version is successful. She said since this is my third child there is a high chance he will just turn right back around. So she may do it get me into a hospital room, do the version, put a special belt on me to keep him from turning around, then break my water. Option 3 happens if he turns breech again, or if its unsuccessful... I get a c-sec. I really, really, really dont want one of those nasty things. I cant handle feeling "pressure and tugging". I passed out having a wisdom tooth extracted! lol I dont care what people who have had a c-sec says. Im a chicken and im afraid of them!

Anyway, lol. I am now going to the OB's office twice a week. On Tuesdays after Ethans music/story class Ill be going in for my NST's and AFI's. I dont know how I am going to entertain Ethan for that long two times a week while strapped down in a doctors office, but ill try! I think we are going to buy some special toys and activities that he can only play with during mommys appts and when the baby is born.

Thanks for visiting and please check back for updates soon!
