to New England
July 2001
Ian got glasses for strabismus (crossed eye due to farsightedness). So far the progress looks good - the eye is beginning to move back to center.
March:
Kurt stepped down as manager to spend more time with the family. We ALL appreciate the change!
April:
Jessi and the kids flew to D.C. for DAR and "Grammy & Grampa" time.
June:
Aunt Natalie visited. The kids enjoyed having a playmate and Jessi enjoyed having a helper to go on outings.
We spent a month in New England with Kurt's family. The kids enjoyed a big yard and playing in the ocean. Kurt enjoyed getting together with old friends. Jessi enjoyed 40 hours of writing time. We all enjoyed the change of scenery and weather.
August:
Jessi's parents visited. Ian enjoyed serenades on the piano by Grandpa. Megan enjoyed "arting" with Grandma.
Also, Megan started Kindergarten. It was a rough adjustment, but she loves it now. She was upset the first week because they were only counting to 10!
November:
Ian was diagnosed with autism.
