Cosplay.com is a great community for cosplayers! You can register for free and build your own cosplay profile. You can search for other cosplayers, photos, events, or check out the forums for help, info, and other stuff. It's a wonderful place for cosplayers alike!
Cure Cosplay is a Japanese Cosplay community. You can post pictures and have people join their unique feature: Your very own Fan Club. Your can upload photos to your fan club so that only people who join it can see. And keep track of who views your profile, your rank accordingly, and other neat stuff on this site.
deviantART is a community of artists. You can search for artists or types of art or by just about anything else. You can create your very own account and start posting your own works. Creative critisim is to be expected, but remember: most people there are just like you!

Culture Splash is website that allows you to interact with Japanese people. You can build your Japanese by posting to communities or a diary. You can add to a list of friends and interact with them. It's fun!
Gaia Online is a online RPG of sorts. You create a character that you would like to represent you and go about the site collecting gold. With gold you can buy clothes, housing (if you so desire), items and other stuff. It's a great way to meet new people and make new friends.
FanFiction.Net is a mega-database of fanfics. You can find just about ANY fanfic imaginable. And if you can't, write your own. Registration is free.
FictionPress.Com is a website for original fiction ideas. All posts are copyrighted. It's a great place to get book ideas of your own and a great place to, when your bored, read something interesting and unique. I recommend reading Gatekeeper by Kyobouryuu Arashi. Great book! Check it out!
Ansem Retort is a web-comic that's literally on crack. If you're EVER bored enough to read this, you will not be bored for long. Seriously. If I had to describe it, I'd say picture Kingdom Hearts, all of Kingdom Hearts. Okay, now imagine this: Sora has amnesia, Riku's emo, Axel kills orphans, Larxene is hyped up on sugar and crack, and Zexion is a surgeon who is running for president to avoid being sued for malpractice by a former patient who is now half-man half-cookie. Now put them on a FOX reality TV show. Ta da!
The Fiction of Kira Takenouchi is another great boredom killer. She writes serious, VERY EXPLICT, hard-core yaoi. Bondage and lots of smut. It's so filthy, you'll need a shower after reading it. Taming Riki which is a fanfic of sorts, is over a 1,000 pages worth of reading. It took me months and then I found out it was the FIRST book in a set of THREE (I'm wondering what it looks like in book format because the only other actual book I read that was that long was Lady Shikibu Murasaki's The Tale of Genji ). Anyways, Then there is Headmaster's Chambers which is still in-progress. The links are below.
