| Our Name One in Four comes from the alarming statistic that one in four women will be raped or sexually assaulted by the time she graduates from college. Click Here For Our New Website! Click Here for the Presentation Schedule! Who We Are: One in Four is an organization that is dedicated to educating students about rape and the suffering that it causes. Our Name One in Four comes from the alarming statistic that one in four women will be raped or sexually assaulted by the time she graduates from college. The primary function of One in Four is to educate men about what rape is and how to help a sexual assault survivor recover from sexual assault. We teach men to help a sexual assault survivor because statistically women are likely to go to a trusted male friend after she has been raped and we want men to be able to provide for her needs. Now that we are an official organization, we have acces to many capmus resouces. We are still looking to add new members. If you would like to join or you know someone who would be an asset to our group please e-mail us at [email protected]. What We're Looking For: Our organization is more than presentations; our presenters are a walking symbol of respect, diginity, care, and what it means to be a true man. Our presenters are held to a high regard and respected on campuses across the nation. We are looking for men who meet the description above. We are looking for me who are willing to step up to the challenge and help make a difference at the University of Kansas. We are open to all KU students, but because of the research we use only men can do the presentations What you can do now: Please spread the word about our organization.
