Hi, and welcome to the Windows Movie Maker Section.
In the section you'll learn how to create and edit your own Music video by editing Clips/Cutscenes from Games or Movies.
To find Clips or Cutscenes can be tricky to find, but keep on searching, you never know when you'll find a clip or two. I'll give you tips and tricks so your video will be fun to watch, but remember, That you are improving everytime you make a new Music video. So just keep on making them.
Step 1) Get Started
Okey, the first thing you need to do is to check if you have the movie maker downloaded to your computer. In some cases, when you first bought your computer, the movie maker was with the data when you installed it.
Like Microsoft Office and Paint. But if you DON'T Have the Movie maker on your computer, just click on the link download the movie maker below in the download section.
The movie maker is located in the accessories map at:
Start> all programs> accessories> entertainment> movie maker and there you'll find it.
Well, click on the movie maker and wait for it to load and now, we can begin the tutorial.
Step 2) Import Clips and music
Now, there is two ways to Import files, by just dragging the file onto the movie maker, like
this or just click on CTRL + I and the Import window will open.
You'll need a codex if you want to Import Avi files. If you don't have the DivX codec, you can only Import WMA Or MPEG files, and it's very rare to find files in that format.
To download the codec, you need to download the Divx player. The DivX codec/player can be downloaded in the download section below.
Step 3) Select Music Or Sound
When you have Imported the clips you want to make a Music video of, you'll need a song or a sound clip. For you who don't have a downloading program like Dc++ or Limewire, can find music/Songs on internet or on internet music shops.
I don't have any good proposition on a site, that's free to download music from, but you can always use google (www.google.com) to look for songs.

Feel free to take a song from there, they are free n__n
Now when you have Imported the song, you can begin to create you very own Music video.
Step 4) Begin the Movie Making
Okey, I choose to make a music video of My favorite game, Rule of Rose!
Choose the clips you want to make the video of and Import them into the movie maker.
When it's imported,
double click on the cutscenes and look at the video. And if you found a good scene clip it into two pieces, by pressing
this button, and now
drag the clip onto the storyboard. You must drag the music into the storyboard aswell.
Do it with all the other sceens too. Now you must use you imagination and create a amazing music video. If you have any questions or problems, Send me a message. I'll personally help you out!
Step 4) TIPS AND TRICKS!!
Here you'll find Tips and Tricks. Like what to do if a clip is to short. Now I'm not super talanted in movie maker, but I try my best.
When A Clip is too short . .
Yes, When a clip is too short you can slow it down a little. Just cut the clip a little before it ends, and slow it down. Now it's longer, but, be carful dear. If you use the slow effect to much, the video will break and would not work.
Old looking video !
Yes, If you want to make a old looking video, you have 3 kind of effects. Old, older and oldest. The first old effects is just a little "sparkle", but that's good. Anyway, you can either use the Old or Older effect. BUT DO NOT USE THE OLDEST! It's evil!! It's Really evil!!
Anyway, take the old effect and drag it on to the clip, now when you watch it, it's not that old looking . . Naah, you need to make the clip gray. Yes, GRAY!
Old videos is gray, anyway, take the gray effect and drag it on to the clip. and tadaaa, you have a old looking video.
Save a clip faster, use this trick

Do it to the beat mate !
If your song has very strong beats in some parts like a drum or band, you can zoom in on your music time-line and shorten the selected clip to just the right point before the beat, then if you use the effect, 'fade in from white' it will make it look like a flash beat, and you can do it multiple times in a row by shortening your clips more and more to the beat.
Change of color to your clip
If you want a change of color to your clips during the clip, for a cool effect shorten the clip to where you want it, use the same clip and shorten it to where you left off, then add a color effect to the shortened clip, some of which are grayscale, full color spectrum and sepia tone.
Fading clips is another cool trick
fading clips is another cool trick if you are making a slow video, you click on the clip you want to blend together with another and drag it to the clip beside it by the bottom and fade it up to where you want it to be.
How to make a fast video
If you want a lot of clips in the one video and you want them all together you can fully zoom in on the time-line and shorten the clips so they are at least 0.66 seconds.
A super good tip if you ask me n_n
By clicking on the,
Tasks Button, Next to the Collections, a Movie task helper will show up.

Download the movie maker here. If you want to use avi files in your videos, you have to download
DivX aka divx codex.
