Medieval Renaissance Club
Let me begin by stating that this club is made up of college students, alumni and friends alike. All of us are here to teach and learn. Every member of this club has their own specialties that they are willing to share with newcomers and old time members alike. We are an educational club born on the priciples that education can be fun when learning something one is passionate about and the material is presented in a manner that draws the person in and make then desire to learn all they can.
This club is also a social club; we gather both on and off campus. A common phrase amongst us is, "We sing badly, dress funny, and have fun." (Well except for the singing badly part. We have many skilled minstrels amongst us and maybe even a few bards.)
Alas, this description is no where close to encompassing all that is Club. We put on two shows a year, a dinner and a Renaissance Faire, so we are actors. We also do live steel demonstrations, so we are warriors. We also have many craftsman amongst us, so we are the backbone of society. Come to think of it, we are a town of wanderers that from time to time gather together as it was done in the Middle Ages or the Renaissance. We do it, or are willing to learn how. So continue throught here to learn of our members and our ideals. Then come join us in revelry one Thursday and become part of the family.
