"FOR
MANY MEMBERS OF "Nettverk

FAIRYTALE OF THIS SPRING WAS
THE FOLK DANCE GROUP "L

YEAR THAT THIS SARAJEVO GROUP
IS VISITING NORWAY...
ON
THE LAST YEAR' S TOUR, CAA
"L O L A"HAD AN
APPEARANCE IN DRAMMEN THEATRE
ON MAY 17, NORWEGIAN NATIONAL
HOLIDAY. BESIDES VISITING
DRAMMEN, THE GROUP VISITED
LILLEHAMMER, BERGEN...
ALTHOUGH
"LOLA" IS AN AMATEUR
CLUB, THE ARTISTIC PROGRAM
THAT THEY PERFORMED WAS A
FIRST CLASS PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM..."

VISIT
TO NORWAY, May 1998

Mr.
Per Ivar HENRIKSBO
WARM
REGARDS FROM BOSNIA
Lillehammer
: We have seen them before,
but it was good to see them
again in Kulturhuset Banken
yesterday. LONG LIVE BOSNIA!
It
is not hard to say and feel
that when you have seen the
Cultural Club "LOLA".
Folk
Dance Group "LOLA"
visited Lillehammer a year
ago and lifted the spirits
of Bosnians in Lillehammer
almost "UP TO THE SKIES".
Yesterday, that phenomenal
ensemble from a former Yugoslav
republic came to Norway again.
Folk
Dance Group "LOLA"
is more than a folk dance
troop. For years it has been
the most prominent representative
of Bosnian dances and musical
culture...
During
their appearance they were
constantly interrupted by
applauses and cheers of delight.
It
was a warm and sincere interaction
between the audience and the
stage, on that sunny May evening,
which was warming in many
way It is difficult to describe
this powerful performance
to all those who were unable
to find a seat in the packed
auditorium. The complex and
dynamic dances were prepared
in an ideal manner for this
occasion. The steps on the
stage and their combinations
took the breath away, and
not only of us who are not
great connoisseurs of music."

"JUNIOR
ENSEMBLE OF THIS RENOWNED
GROUP PERFORMED `Muslim dances
from Sarajevo',
I
MUST SAY THAT THE CHILDREN
WERE A TRUE REVELATION. IT
WAS A PLEASURE WATCHING THEM
DANCE...
REGARDING
THE RENOWNED ENSEMBLE THAT
WAS PRESENTED BY TWO CHOREOGRAFHIES
OF EXTRAORDINARY BEAUTY. "THE
LINDZO" AND "THE
DANCES FROM THE MOUNT VLASIC",
THEIR PERFORMANCE WAS FASCINATING.
EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT!
WHILE I WAS WATCHING "THE
LINDZO"
I
THOUGHT THAT I WAS WATCHING
REAL PROFESSIONAL ON THE STAGE,
EVERY MOVEMENT OF THOSE GIRLS
AND BOYS WAS IN A PERFECT
HARMONY OF STYLE AND DANCING.
THIS CHOREOGRAPHY WAS A REFRESHMENT
OF THE EVENING. AND AS FOR
"THE DANCES FROM THE
MOUNT VLASIC", THE ORIGINALITY
OF THE DANCING, SINGING AND
COSTUMES, AS WELL AS THE COORDINATION
SHOWN, DAZZLED EVERYONE ON
THIS REVIEW."...
