About English Rose, the fansite

• Opened on December 14, 2003
• Maintained by fig, a Rachel fan(atic) :)
• Is hosted by gah.servebeer.com
• Has three mirrors, including the main site
• The other hosts are Geocities and Britishhost
• English Rose is constantly moving about, so fig signed up for URL redirection at ShortURL.com
• Has had almost 5,000 visitors since opening date
• Exact numero: 4,967 visitors
• fig, the owner, is NOT Rachel :)
• fig is not affliated with Rachel other than being a fan
• fig, the owner, is paranoid about giving people credit for their work :D
• fig, the owner, can be IS a pain to others when it comes to giving credit
• Graphics by fig are made by PSP8 and/or Photoshop 5.0
• The layout was taken from freelayouts.com but was extensively modified by fig
• Creator was designworx.nl
• Does not make profit in any way at all
• Was featured as the Celebrity Site of the Day for December 29, 2003 by CSOTD.com
• Is CSS loaded (Style Sheets, yo!)
• Updated through Blogger.com and occasionally Pitas.com (Geocities)
• Used to use Greymatter for updating but it caused a server overload (yikes!)
• Because of the server overload, fig ditched Greymatter
• And also ditched the old site, Freesites.ws, once they lowered the bandwidth
• 50free.com was also ditched because of frequent downtime
• Was named after Lucy Fisher's quote about Rachel: "Rachel's... a true English rose."
