Missouri Pacific
My favorite color is blue. I took my first
train trip from San Antonio to New Braunfels in 1970 on a Missouri Pacific
passenger train. This was before Amtrak, which did not come into existance
until May 1971. The Missouri Pacific depot is on Commerce and Medina streets
on the west side of downtown. The Missouri Pacific became part of the Union
Pacific in the mid 1980s.
