| With millions of clones to produce and nurture, it was no wonder the Kaminoans employed a little extra help: the KE-8 Enforcer helped maintain the legendary Kaminoan quality in every single clone. Although the name suggested an armed starfighter tasked with protecting Tipoca City from space, the KE-8 Enforcer was merely an aid in the growth of clones on Kamino. The Enforcer was able to enter orbit thanks to heavy repulsorlift engines and an efficient power plant, though the Kaminoans preferred to keep it close at hand. However, in the event of an emergancy, the Kaminoan pilot within could wield the Enforcer's electro- shock stun device and manipulator arms as a last- resort defence for the clones in Tipoca City. The manipulator arms below the main body of the Enforcer were very powerful, and could carry many times the vehicle's weight without a reduction in speed. The Enforcer had excellent fine repulsor throttle control and was able to hover in place for extended periods if required. The craft were usually assigned to patrol production areas, examining the clones and evaluating and tracking their progress. The pilots themselves were well-trained to spot anomalies and genetic mutations in clones, which enabled them to pick out any flaws and abberrant developments. On the opposite end of the scale, any outstanding clones were picked out by Enforcer pilots for special training. When not on patrol, the KE-8 Enforcers were kept in recharge racks when not needed, though they were ready for quick deployment at all times. Hatches in the Enforcer station led to various clone training and growth areas across Tipoca City. Computer terminals and monitoring stations tracked Enforcer activity. |
