Operating as quality-control mobile inspection labs, the Kaminoan Observation Ships
were huge vessels seen floating thorugh the cloning facilities on
Tipoca City.
The large Observation Ships were staffed by Kaminoan
scientists who were quick to react to problems. They
would constantly look for ways to improve the cloning
and training processes on Kamino. If they encountered
a problem, a KE-8 Enforcer would usually be sent to locate
the anomaly, though there were occasions when clones were picked
out to be given special training for exemplary clones.
A detachable observation gondola was located on the bottom of the
Observation Ship, just below the repulsorlift array. The T-shaped
bridge jutted out from the top of the oval craft, in which Kaminoan
pilots communicated with tracking stations on the ground. These stations monitored KE-8 Enforcers, and could inform Observation Ship pilots of their finds. Below the bridge was a large observation deck, giving the Kaminoan scientists panoramic views of the cloning facilities.
Observation Ships were not the only way to view the progress of clones. In order to keep the sterile cloning facilities free from contamination, the Kaminoans created sealed walkways for visitors. These walkways only have a view of the main floors of the cloning centers; the bulk of a clone's training and education occured below, in more tightly crammed facilities. |
