WANDRELLA |
[It would seem that a hungry wandrella is a tireless wandrella!] |
A primative creature which thought of little more than chasing and devouring its prey, the wandrella was no less deadly because of its simple nature. The wandrella was native to Mimban, also known as Circarpous V, and was often found on the planet's muddy plains. A wandrella's creamy skin was phosphorescant, and its veins could be seen all over its body. Its cluster of eyes was located above its massive maw, dominated by rows of sharp teeth - a look not too dissimilar to the infamous Pit of Carkoon on Tatooine. Unlike the sarlacc who resided there, however, the wandrella had to chase its prey after catching it unawares. When Luke, Leia and Halla travelled across Mimban in search of the Temple of Pomojema, their swamp crawler appeared to get stuck in the mud. However, they quickly learned they were sitting atop a large wandrella, which reared up and destroyed the crawler. It then charged after Luke and Leia on its armoured belly, until they hid in a deep well. Though the wandrella found them, Luke realised it had overextended itself trying to reach into the well. The creature slipped, and fell right past them, into the well's dark depths. |
