Karen's Genealogy Pages---Steel and Truchon Families, etc.

If you do not have a Java-enabled browser, please
use the links provided below to navigate this site.

PLEASE NOTE:
This site has not been updated in close to two years. Much more information is available than that shown on these pages. ALSO-Geocities will be closing during the summer of 2009. So this site will be moving...

Thank you for taking the time to visit my web site! This site is under continual construction as I am always working to expand my genealogy files. Currently there are more than one hundred web pages available on this site. Occasionally you may find that a page or two is down as I work to improve the site. I hope that you'll check back frequently to see the site grow!

I have devoted a great deal of time to researching the many branches of my family tree. There are pages devoted to each of branch of my tree which you can access by using the links provided below. I've tried to include information acquired from vital records documents, family stories, and my research. There is also a "Family Portraits" photo album on the site. Any additions or corrections are always welcome.

AN IMPORTANT NOTE about this web site: For the most part, I scripted these pages myself, without the help of any software. I used Internet Explorer 6.0 and a monitor resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. The pages may display differently on your computer-particularly if you are using Netscape. If you find any pages that look absolutely goofy (scientific terms) on your computer, please let me know by e-mail so that I can try to fix the problem.

Frequently, Geocities/Yahoo will display a "Page not found" message when you click on a link--or a button or picture will not download on any given page. Should either of those problems occur while you are visiting this site, try the "Refresh" button on your browser.

Please don't hesitate to e-mail me with any comments, suggestions, or connections you might have! Additionally, you can leave feedback for me about this site by clicking here.

Please do not use any of the information that you find on this site on any other web pages without checking with me first.

The links below will take you to pages on this site related to the different branches of my family tree. Click on the quill pen to read a family history and see a genealogical report for each family.
