We live in a wonderful neighborhood in West Lafayette, IN, home to Purdue University and the Boilermakers. Because of the university, the community is extremely diverse and places a high value on education. Our child will have the chance to experience many different cultures, attend top schools, and grow up in a home that is loving and safe. Within easy walking distance of our house are bike trails, parks, the elementary school, and our church.
Though we like to keep our home neat, we don't believe that homes are for display. Our children will always have a place to play and explore without ever having to worry about ruining the carpet or getting the furniture dirty. We will never look back on our lives and think, "I wish I hadn't spilled grape juice on the carpet in our house in West Lafayette." BUT we probably will look back and remember the fun times we had watching our children have tea parties in the living room with Grandma and Grandpa even if a little bit of that "tea" found it's way onto the carpet.
