| Where's the Camera? |
| For this part of your film you will be thinking about the shots that you will be using when filming your movie. First, as a filmmaker you need to be knowledgeable about film terms. Study carefully what each term means and how it relates to your film, especially the terms that have to do with camera angles (the shot). Second, look at samples of these terms and think of how you would use them in your movie. Third, look at the other items that are included in the visual imaging of your movie. Fourth, you will now take all you know about camera angles in order to create a storyboard for you movie. You can draw by hand or use a computer program; it can be very detailed or even stick figures. The purpose of these story boards are to get you to think about the how you will shoot the movie. Look at this sample storyboard, see that the its main purpose is to show what kind of shots will be taken. Example: long shot, close up on girl, close up on phone, etc. This part of the project must be handed in to me in person. You will have the weekend to complete it. |
