manage construction and renovation projects, and run their

Assistant (TA): (October 2003 – March 2004):
Design Studio, Undergraduate 3rd Year, Department of Architecture,
University of Tokyo, Japan.
Responsibilities: The projects were ‘Renovation
of an urban school’ and ‘Redesigning and Renovating
an Urban School Premise’. Worked as an assistant
to the Studio Director ensuring collective involvement
in project development, providing design inputs where
applicable through reasoning and trial and error methods.

Responsibilities: The project was ‘Design
of a new-age facility for the elderly’. Worked as

Nihon
Sekkei (May 2000- October 2002): Worked at Nihon
Sekkei, a reputed design office in Japan as a part-time
employee.
Projects:
Roppongi Campus Documentation: Participated
through the complete process of documentation project
of University of Tokyo, Roppongi campus. The basic tiers
were site surveying, formulation of raw drawings for annotations,
consult existing drawings, and prepare complete CAD drawings
of the project. Preparation of CAD drawings was solely
undertaken.
Busena Golf Resort, Okinawa : Was
a part of the development team for Busena Golf Resort
Design and produced proposals along with the team.

Identifying Features of Healthcare Facility Design as
a Means to Contain the Spread of Epidemic Infectious Diseases’

held at the University of Tokyo, October 30-31, 2003.
Design
Competition: Participated in the International
DuPont 2000 Design Competition on the project of ‘A
Cancer Treatment and Preventive Studies Retreat’
at LaJolla, California, USA.
IYSH
Workshop: Participated in the ‘Housing
Seminar in Commemoration of the IYSH (International Year
of Shelter for the Homeless) held in Tokyo, Japan, August
20 – 27, 2002, sponsored by Japan Housing Association
and supported by The Building Center of Japan.
Tokyo
Story : Participated in the ‘Tokyo Story’
workshop, a joint collaboration between Architecture Association
(AA), London, Berlage Institute, Rotterdam, and the University
of Tokyo, on the propagation of Urban Prototypes following
the ‘EOTM’ theory, conducted by Raoul Bunschoten.

Ramen
Architecture : Participated in the ‘Ramen
Architecture’ workshop hosted by Department of Architecture,
the University of Tokyo, conducted by guest professors
from Vienna Institute of Technology, Austria, on the use
of Form Z in terms of geometries of knots in the urban
fabric, held in April, 2000.
Built
Project: Designed and supervised a national monument
and cenotaph in memory of the martyrdom of BirShreshtha
Noor Mohammad and his fellow freedom fighters at Kashimpur,
Jessore, Bangladesh.
Consultant
Partner, (1997-1999): Founder member, Architect’s
Den, a design atelier located at Khulna, Bangladesh. Designed
and supervised two full-scale residential projects and
a renovation project.
CREATIVE
DESIGN EXPERIENCE:
Designed
and developed web sites with static and dynamic features
for Professional Organizations and Community Support portals.
Responsibilities spanning from Concept Development to
Overall Implementation and Maintenance. Also designed
and printed posters, magazines, and brochures for different
