The majority of the Malamutes that we produce are not sold to homes exclusively for the purpose of showing or breeding. Rather, they are purchased by loving individuals looking for a devoted family companion. This section is dedicated to the extended family of Krystalmar - those wonderful people that have given our puppies such a special place in their hearts and homes.

Krystalmar's Silken Aurora, owned by Gary Lawson, is pictured here on one of her backpacking trips. Although she doesn't officially have her Working Pack Dog title, Silken has definitely earned it many times over trekking through Algonquin Park with Gary. She is a sweet, gentle girl adored by all who meet her.

Krystalmar's Rudy, T.T., owned by Lucy Sabatino & Neal Kennedy, is a sweet loveable boy who loves to "talk". Rudy has often been used as a demo dog at Krystalmar's K-9 Academy dog obedience classes. He was the "runt" of his litter, but just look at him now!!

Krystalmar's Cassidy - Who says Malamutes aren't talented? Cassidy and her best buddy Porky the Pug are posed for the camera in their tutus. This dynamic duo is ready to perform! Perhaps they come by this unique talent naturally because their owners Peter and Dalit Hume are professional dance instructors.

Krystalmar's Keisha - With the passing of Krystalmar's Cala, after 13.5 years, the Campbell's needed another mal puppy to fill the void in their hearts. The newest addition to Diana & Gord's home is pictured above. Keisha is enjoying her own "above the ground" pool. She also likes to relax on the patio with her bunny and hotdog by her side. What a life!

Krystalmar's Motcie. When Krystalmar's Keena passed away in 1999 after 16 wonderful years with Gerald & Yvonne Badcock, the emptiness was overwhelming. The timing was right for a new addition to their home - meet Motcie, alias "Bunny", an adorable girl with lots of personality. She has been enamored with water from puppyhood!

Krystalmar's I Love Lucy & Krystalmar's Ace Ventura are owned by Margaret & Todd Mercer. Lucy, aptly named for her beautiful red coat, and Ace, a gorgeous black and white male, have enriched the lives of their owners with their unique and different personalities. Both have often been the inspiration behind some of Todd's articles in Dogs in Canada magazine.

Krystalmar's Cub, owned by Richard Drenes of Brooklyn, New Yorkk is a handsome wolf grey and white male. A lovely, good natured boy, Cub enjoys daily romps in the doggy park with all his dog friends.

Krystalmar's Empi is owned by Andrea Sorenson. Empi shares her home with another Malamute, Haito, owned by Graham Prentice, and a Jack Russell Terrier, Jas. Pictured above as a puppy with her Mom and to the right as the black and white wheel dog on the team - she is a sweet, laid back girl with lots of personality. Empi and Haito like to pull which is great when it's time to sled! Watch for this duo to hit the Mal Quad Crown Races this winter with Andrea & Graham!
