This piece is not completed to my full satifaction, but I show this primarily for the coloring techinque. For this assignment only 6 colors of pencil-crayon could be used: the 3 primary and 3 secondary colors. All colors in-between had to be made using those 6 colors in layers. We had to use this technique as well as merge two portrait pieces together in playing card formate. I chose Leonardo Davinci's study of a child's head and the angel in "The Virgin of the Rocks."
