For this assignment the layers used different techniques. The first layer, the background, had to be a color matte of matching colors. The second layers had to consist of large text and transparent text. This was done by cutting out the letters from a large sheet of chosen xeroxed text and then temporarily taping the make-shift stencil in place. Then a matching color of paint was mixed with clear gel to be made transparent. The last few layers had to be gel-transferred images and there had to be at least one overlap. Afterwords we were allowed to use whatever medium to touch-up. I used pastels to highlight the larger text and the crow images.
