These two are experiments in getting that roof off and changing the door line. I like the idea of having only half the door and also I like the idea of an aero screen rather than a full windscreen. They both have modified grill shells and are of course coupes rather than 4 seaters. |

The green moggy is a copy of a car I saw a long time ago in Streetmachine slightly modified to suit my car's structure as I believe the original car was based on a moggy van.
The other car is a rip off of a Willys coupe. If you take the back seat out of a moggy and drag the roof forward you get a really good Willys shape to the car. |

I think this is the car I'll probably build. Im a serious lover of the mercury and the lead sleds of the 50's and 60's; also trying to look at it from a simple build point of view all this would need would be a roof chop, a new grill and a few Beetle bumper over-riders to make some nice chrome teeth for the grill and then of course a cracking set of purple flames ohhh you gotta love flames!! you have YOU HAVE DONT ARGUE!
The build will take a while as I'm flat broke after building my last car; however I will try and keep this site updated as and when the work really starts! Most rodders build in the winter but I have a habit of building in the summer out in the sunshine and then driving my newly built car while it snows LOL! |
