Now the story gets sad again - I drove her for coming up for 2 years and she needed some love by the end of it. In this time I'd been to college and moved house twice again and the moggy got rolled into the garage for a quick rebuild .......and there she sat for almost 10 years somewhere under all that garden stuff and behind my Virago there's a moggy.... really there is!! |

In the pictures above you can see the extent of the rot that's taken place in the years! Although the car is solid the surface rust is awful, the carpets have rotted, the seats need a damn good clean and the transmission tunnel has left the building! Being a forward thinking kinda guy I managed to put the old wheels back on while she was stored and so my cyclones are still as nice and shiny as they where when they came off. Above all the car is in damn good nick and it should only take a little work to get her back on the road! I spent a few weeks drawing some design ideas and I'm still not sure which one I'll build but on the next page you can see all my designs. I like the idea of making a moggy coupe or roadster but like I said we shall see! |
