| NOTE from Jackie: This is from my cousin and his wife. They are for real and this is not a scam. They are sincere people whose only desire is to lead as many to Jesus Christ while they are still breathing or until Rapture, whichever happens first. They live VERY modestly (and that word might be a stretch! J ) and are frugal and creative with handling finances. We have been involved in a ministry to our veterans. For several years now we have been funding this ministry ourselves. However, lately our ministry has exploded. We are now traveling between 2,000 and 3,000 miles per month. The bibles that we have specially printed for the veterans and give away free, have been going at a very fast rate. The last 1,000 we got lasted 3 months and we have requests for more. We have ordered another 1,000 on faith. We are $1700 short to meet the cost of the bibles. Our bible says we have not because we ask not. Asking for money is something we are not fond of doing to say the least, but God says we're being selfish and not letting other people share on our blessings. We believe this is referred to as pride. So we are asking for you to pray about supporting the cause financially. We don't need money for ourselves just for the bibles and some gas money. We are praying for 60 people who could send $50.00 a month. Maybe that is beyond your means. If so, consider a lesser amount. If we all band together we can keep these bibles in print and get them out to the hurting veterans. We have had so many testimonies about them, that it is unbelievable. Our publishers have even told us that they are getting calls wanting to know how to get a hold of the bibles. Also we would ask that you pass this on to anyone who you think might be interested in supporting this cause. We thank you for all your help and may God richly bless you for your support. |
