| Dog fighting is unexcusable and totally wrong. The dogs you bring up to fight never asked to be tortured for your entertainment, they are innocent. Please think twice before you train a dog to fight. Pit bulls (the most common fighting dog) are being banned in many cities and states and recently were almost banned all toghther! I have a Pit Bull and I love him to death, I just can't picture him being taken from me because of ignorant people who train their dogs to be mean. My dog already gets looks and he is the sweetest thing! He dosen't deserve the thoughts people have about him. So please just think twice before you judge a dog or train one to be the steriotypical monsters. Also I believe that even though they have been in a fighting situation SOME of these dogs can be turned around to be wonderful pets. I am not saying that they should be taken from the pit to someones home, but if the dog is trained properly and goes to a home where he/she is the only dog, I believe the dog could be loved as a pet, and not put to sleep. Alot of these dogs are what they call "bait dogs" and have their mouths tied, taped, or muzzled and just attacked by bigger, older dogs. I think these dogs have a better chance at becomming household dogs because they tend to be the dogs who don't want to fight. That is if they survive. Please report dog fights or people who have dogs who are obviously fighting dogs! Lets kill this before it kills our pets! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
