Autobiografia | |

The band Perfect (established 1977) is one of these Polish rock bands, about which we can say they are a symbol for rock music in Poland.
The song "Autobiografia" (recorded 1982) is about a complicated life of a man - who was, at the moment of premiere - at least one generation older than the audience. But the audience of every age loved the song and it became the biggest hit of Perfect and an anthem of the whole Polish rock. It includes many hints, also political. For example the third verse: (The wind of changes blew...) is an allusion to the Stalin's death. The "Luxemburg" from the eighth verse means "Radio Luxemburg" which played modern western music. |
