- Hagen Vetter has started a new musical project called "Negri
Bodies". The name refers to some strange bodies
discovered in the brain of animals infected with rabies.
- Finally after some years waiting for some news about
the musical projects and talents of musician Hagen Vetter

2002
|
- Unfortunately they finally splitted up without publishing
new material.
- Here are Hagen's words before they closed their official
site:
Hi guys! this is Hagen.
I just wanna say hi and tell you that it is great to see
how much interest there still is for Splatter Squall.
Unfortunately I have to say that for me the era of Splatter
Squall slowly comes to an end. I already go new musically
ways since some time and will exlusiv do that in future.
So, from my sight of view, a reunion of Splatter Squall
will not happen. The time of Splatter Squall, the way
I founded the project 12 years ago, is over.
You all were so great and loyal fans, so I thought it
was my duty to tell you what's really happen now. Many
thanks to you all and I'm sure you'll hear something of
me soon.
Take care and best wishes, Hagen

- 4 years after they splitted up the year 2001 gives us
the news about the reunion.
- They start a new official site at http://www.bolwerk.de/splattersquall
now defunct.
- In November 17th Hagen and Andreas decided to start a
new Splatter Squall era.
- The side-line magazine anounced the news on November
20th:
Wondering what happened to Splatter Squall, the famous
EBM-band from Minden - Bückeburg, Germany that took the
dancefloors by surprise between 1993-1998? We've got good
news for you then, as the band's Andreas Werner informed
us that the band has reunited. We had a small chat with
Andreas, who tells us why he and Hagen Vetter started
up the band again:
«Basically cause we have time again now. Not to mention
that times changed a lil bit, we have with the internet
an important media for publishing our music. That wasn’t
the case between 1993-1997.»
The reasons for the split back in the late nineties never
has been clear, now they are, Andreas:
«It was a time factor. I was busy with my job, new girlfriend
250 km away from my city, then my lil boy was born in
1999. :) And we were a lil frustrated about the canceled
deal with Celtic Circle Productions.»
The band confirms furthermore that the musical direction
will remain the same though with more modern sounds. The
band has now recorded some tracks, mostly instrumental.
Two of them are now available as Mp3-download on SS' homepage.
The band have no recorddeal yet, but they don't seem to
panic:
"If we find no label were going to publish the new material
by ourself. Mp3 makes it possible :) And sure, it is possible
that we publish small cd-series."

at C.C.P and make plans to bring their new album
called "Cruel". The new songs
were ready produced but never come out at this label. Mr.

- Band internal conflicts and a missing record deal let
split up the band in early 1997

some problems with the record company, Gothic Art Records,
makes them leave the publishing house.
|

operated with Hagen Vetter to different projects and collaborated
live, they signed their first record deal at german label
