Flying Padre is a short documentary about two typical days in the life of a priest named Fred Stadmueller. There's not much in the way of entertainment or interesting facts presented in this film. It's just another early Kubrick film, so it's worth a look.

The Seafarers is a short documentary about the Seafarers International Union. Kubrick's first colour film is nothing more that a bore-fest galore. It is a decently made documentary, but there's just nothing in it that holds the viewer's interest. I mean, how exciting can you make a bunch of sailors hanging around in their natural environment?

Fear and Desire is Kubrick's first feature film. In it, four soldiers are trapped behind enemy lines and encounter odd happenings. I see this film as a kind of ancestral version of Apocalypse Now It's a truly interesting anti-war film that could use a bit of remastering.
