Russell Crowe is remarkable in this engaging tale of life at sea. Crowe plays the captain of a vessel called the Surprise. He engages in a chase to capture or destroy his enemy. The problems that occur and their subsequent solutions are fun to watch, and this film never loses its viewer's attention for a second.
Rated PG-13 for intense battle sequences, related images, and brief language.
