This short film from Michaelangelo Antonioni appears as a special feature on the DVD for Eros, pictured above. In this dull, boring, excruciatingly long short film, we see Michelangelo Antonioni walk again (he is, in real life, bound to a wheelchair). He walks into a cathedral, and the film is, simply, a silent collection of shots of statues in the cathedral and of Antonioni himself. After about five minutes, one gets the point, and it's all one can do not to just fast forward through the rest of it. It's not like you'd be missing anything. Of course, the film is beautifully shot, and the idea of seeing a wheelchair-bound director walk again, even if it's only through the magic of cinema, is worth watching.
Not rated; suitable for all audiences.
