1995 BOMB 102 mins.
Dude, could this film suck any more? Not even the presence of Quentin Tarantino could save this film. This film is so cheesy that even calling it so overestimates it. Let's see here, Tarantino plays a man named Johnny Destiny, who is basically like God in this film. He rises and disappears through a crack in the bottom of a swimming pool. Dylan McDermott plays an escaped convict who wants to hook up with his old love played by Nancy Travis. Nancy Travis's character is now hooked up with James Belushi's character, but she goes back to Dylan McDermott. James Le Gros plays a motel owner who saw Destiny rise up out of his pool. The dialogue is dumb and so stupid that it's not even laughably stupid. It seems as though this film was made by a childish filmmaker or two who has not yet reached puberty. Don't waste your time. Tarantino buffs, please listen to me when I say this: you aren't missing anything if you never see this film. Do yourself a favour and stay away.
