I will admit that I had high hopes for this film, seeing as how it was the film debut of Francis Ford Coppola. However, this film fails much more than it succeeds. The story is absolutely bland. The only plusses this film has are the insights into the director who will go on to make such classics as The Godfather and Apocalypse Now.
