I was so glad that this film was not what it was advertised to be. The trailers and TV spots advertised this film as a slutty sleaze bar kind of tale. Rather, it is the story of a small-town girl (Piper Perabo) who wants to be a song-writer. The bar is simply a stepping stone in that direction. This is not first-rate entertainment, by any means, but it is fun to watch.
