Down Memory Lane

  So now that you know about KROS, you must be wondering how it all started??

  It all started about two years ago when a few of us ex kabirites got together and realized that we were all wishing for a common thing. All of us were dying to see an ex student organization for our school - the school where we had spent 10 important years of our life! So we decided that instead of just sitting around, wishing and waiting for an ex student organization to form why don't we make one! That one common desire gave birth to Kabirs Roll of Old Students or Kros.

  Once we had the basics together we sent out our very first communiqué to all ex kabirites. The superb response we got after our very first letter led to the formal inauguration of Kros by respected Mr. J P Singh. We would like to express our immense gratitude to him for supporting and helping Kros. Within months of our inauguration, we had organized our maiden event KrosFire99, a formidable achievement, followed by the spectacular Kros Dance Party!

  Reproduced below is a partial version of the very first letter sent out by kros to all ex students.


Dear Ex- Kabirite,

  Sometimes when I am alone, I can't help but think about the days gone by, the days I spent in Kabir. I fondly remember the teachers, the atmosphere and the days well spent. I also remember all my friends and all the great moments we shared.

  Then I wish that somehow I could return to my alma-mater. How wonderful would it be if there was a forum through which I could interact with my schoolmates and remember the good old days.

  I am sure that most of you feel the same and wish for such an opportunity. Well here it is....!

  We are delighted to present Kabirs Roll of Old Students (KROS), an association of ex-students of St. Kabir. It is a forum where you can meet your old friends and make new ones and relive your memories.

We would like to invite you to our meeting and become formal members of KROS.
