"Ka, Settle down, take a deep breath, and then, I might release my grip on your fist." he says, with a wyr grin upon his face. "Kitiara wants to know if she has permission to kick the...um.....how to put this nicely....'living shit' out of him. Even though, her language was a lot more colorful than that. I think that Oracle was even blushing at her language." he says with a chuckle.
Ka turns his head up to look at him. "Oracle, blushing?" Ka says with a bit of humor in his voice. "Damn, wonder where she learned that language." he says with a chuckle.
"Well, sir, this is CobaltX after all. oh, and Krondax is offering her the use of his old 2x4..."
This sends Ka into a laughing frenzy in which he nearly falls to his knees. After a few moments, he begins to catch his breath again as he looks at Dawg yet once again. "So, now the question is what should we do with him."
"Well, I think that we should bring all of the charges to light," he says, then pauses as he thinks about this. "Or, on second though, considering just how many charges, perhaps we should not bring them all to light, only the more...disgusting ones?"
Ka,now completely controlled, grins and chuckles slightly. "I agree." he says as he turns and makes his way back into the room, Dawg hot on his heels. Upon passing through the doors, he hears Krondax saying "All Rise". Taking his seat, he motions for them to sit. "Not you Solace. If you want to sit, im sure we can find a spike for you to sit on."
An exhasperated sigh comes from Lethal's lips. "I hardly think that this is professional" he says, in an almost whinning voice.
"Professional?" Ka says, his eyebrows dissappearing from sight under his short cut brown hair. "WEll, what about you and your actions?"
"I hardly know what you are talking about."
"Really? such as refusing to obey orders? Taking actions that lead to the destruction of A brand new daishi? And almost the loss of life to one pilot."
"I didnt see you doing anything to help Deadman out." he says almost impassively.
"No, because you were the closest. And I had my hands full, as did all of us. However, if you recall, Deadman was your wing."
At this, Lethal says nothing, but merely ponders this thought. "That is true, He was my wing." he says at length, breaking the tension that had begun to form in the room. "However, I too was under attack. And once I dispatched my attacker I went to Deadman's aid, however, by then the daishi was good as dead."
"This is true, but the manner in which you acted was not befitting of a solider. You blatantly took your time, as well as disobeying a direct order from me." responds KA, turning his head to look at Dawg. "Dawg, would you please present the evidence?"
Reaching out, Dawg presses a button located in the table. A message begins to play over the speakers in the room.
Deadman:"Lethal, where are you bro, im outgunned and injured."
Lethal:"I'm on my way
Over the next minute, the sounds of laser fire can be heard, as well as Lethal laughing.
Lethal:"I cant believe that he would be dumb enough to press his attack in that little thing."
Deadman:"Lethal, get over hear, im barely able to hold them back."
KA:"Lethal, disable that mech now and go help Deadman, that is an order."
At this point, KA raises his hand and Dawg reaches out, shutting down the recording. Turning his gaze back to Lethal, Ka begins to speak. "Now, please share with the court what actions you took after the order."
"I continued to fire upon the mech with no luck." Replied Lethal
"And what did you use?"
Lethal took a few moments this time to stop and think this over. Finally, with a sigh, he responds. "With flamers."
"With flamers. Might I ask why you used flamers instead of regular weapons? More potent Weapons?"
"To speak frankly sir, I wanted to teach that mech pilot a little lesson to remember. That one should not take on an assult mech with a Raven and press the issue."
"Even after you were ordered to end it go help your wing."
"Yes sir."
KA waves back to Dawg, who hits the play button yet once again.
< the sound of laser fire once agian resumes, mixed with the whoosh of fire as the flamers are fired. Then the sound of a large laser can be heard as well as a thud as the raven's leg is blown off by KA. >
KA:Go and help your wing NOW!
Lethal:Sir yes sir! < the voice is in a cockey tone >
Deadman:"I've gotta eject!......Oh < static >"
KA:"Deadman. Deadman, please come in. Deadman, do you read me. Lethal, you better pray for your life that deadman is still alive."
Lethal:"He is, I can see the pod going up right now. Damn, the blast took out the other mechs.
