All of the members of CobaltX, from the new Galaxy Commander Ka, to the lowest and greenest cadets, whom are supposed to have been on KP due to a little fun in the mess hall (food fight) are in the main audience chamber of the Cortrellie Complex, the building having been named after the founder of CobaltX. All but one. The auditorium itself was not a small palce, but as it was, it was overloaded.
The senior ranking memebers of CobaltX were seated behind a long desk at the center of the stage. However, one chair was empty, left that way. Infront of the chair was a name plate reading; "Bones, Khan". Next to it sat Ka, acting Galaxy Commander, appointed to the position due to recent events. On each side of the chair and Ka, flanked the other officers, in decending order of rank. By the door stood Krondax, his ebony skin contrasting greatly with his stark white hair, the points of his drow ears peeking through the hair. Krondax was also one of the few whom didn't have a call sign and didnt care for one, using his own name for his callsign.
The bell chimes the hour. Ka, who at the time was busy reading his papers that were placed infront of him looks up, and then leans left and right, conversing with the rest, and slapping Dawg upside the head for looking at Foxx instead of his notes. Dawg just grins and chuckles, manging to keep the magazine hidden from the rest of the people, and getting a very cold glare from Ka. Lifting the mag up, he poitns to the name Lethal on it, claiming it to be evidence. Ka merely shakes his head and rolls his eyes before looking up at Krondax. "Show the accussed in."
Krondax nods to Ka, then turns to Kendryn and Zehava, both of whom are standing on the opposite sides of the door, with Zehava on his side. Both nod in reply and turn around, opening the Marble double doors for Krondax to exit the room through. After a few moments, Krondax returns, leading a procession of others, Frosty right behind him, and Oracle next to a figure. there are two more MP's off to his side and behind him, the one behidn him beign a female who cant seem to keep her eyes off of the prisoner's behind, as well as her gun barrel out of it, until she recieves a sharp look from Krondax to knock it off. Her head turns downwards slightly.
Looking up, Ka's eyes meet with the accussed's eyes. "Solace 'Lethal' Piddletwig" he says, the name no sooner comming out of his lips that it draws chuckles from the crowd, and nearly a full blown laugh from the cadets that got out of KP. Even the other officers find it humorus, but they keep their faces straight, except for Dawg who snickers a bit, but keeps his form. All of them recieve cold stairs from Solace. "You are here by brought forth to this council due to recent events." he continues, not missing a beat..well, not too many at least. "You are charged with the recent loss of one of our best pilots, Darkone, as well as this." he says as he places a stack of papers down upon the table. "Do you know what these are?"
"No" Solace responds, his face showing as much emotion as a marble statue shows heat on Hoth.
"These are the resignation papers of every single member of CobaltX." Ka says. He pauses, his eyes boaring into Solace's, unblinking for the better part of 10 seconds, his face unmoving. "EVERY member." continues Ka. His eyes remain locked with Solace's eyes, as well as the rest of his face and body, studying the accused's body language. After another pause, Ka briefly looks down at his papers again before looking back up. "Also, due to your recent behavior and actions, it has been suggested that charges concerning the dissapearance of our Khan be brought against you. H--"
"WHAT!" screams Solace, interrupting Ka. "I would never do anything to Bones." he continues, trying to speak over the sound of the gavel that is in Ka's hand.
"ORDER!" shouts Ka. The murmur quickly calms down, as does Lethal. "However, if you had let me finish my sentence, I was going to say, and, as it had been decided, almost as quickly as the idea was brought up, we don't have any evidence to bring up such charges."
Solace's mouth flaps for a brief moment, as he begins to make a rebuttle, but then shuts it, deciding that since the charges are not against him, he best keep his mouth shut...which is probably one of the few times that that has ever happened. After a few moments though, his mouth opens, to no ones' surprise. "So, what exactly are my charges anyway Ka?" he asks, his voice, almost polite..for once.
"These" Ka says, as he places an equally sized stack of papesr next to the first stack. "Are your charges. Mostly Sexual harrasment charges..."
Lethal scoffs at this, seeing the large stack of papers, on the table, then he speaks again. "I dont believe that they actually reported me...I mean, it was just humorous fun." he says, then turns a little to grin at the female MP before looking back at Ka, the grin vanishing instantly as he see's Ka's face.
Gazing at her uncle briefly, she looks over at Krondax, raising an eyebrow, thinking that they both know what she wants. A YES is said by Ka and Krondax, as they have a good idea what she is thinking. Grinning slightly, she backs up and sends the toe of her right steeltoed shoe directly for Lethal's postierior, reulting in a loud yelp and Lethal's feet becomming airborn by almost a foot as he falls on the ground upon a poor landing.
Picking himself up, he turns and looks at her, then Krondax and then finally, Ka. "Might I ask--"
Ka doesnt let him finish the sentence at all. "SHUT UP! If you ever look at my niece that way agian, I will be very persuasive in making yoru punisment be that you are stuffed into a dashi crammed to the gills with High Explosives-" he stands now, leaning forwards on the table, towards Lethal, his voice rising with each word, "-with the windshield removed, and your ass hanging out of it. And I Will Personally Shoot A Thunderbolt STRAIGHT UP IT!"
The rest of the group stands, placing their hands upon him, and trying to get Ka to sit his ass back down. "Ka Ka Ka KA KA KA!!!" says Dawg, "Settle down man.....we will come up with a solution, but, from the way you went about there, I do think that there is hope for you yet."
Grabbing the gavel, he speaks sternly. "Court will be in recess for a while." slamming the gavel down upon the table, he used enough force that the head breaks off. Storming out of the room, the two halfs roll off of the table, and onto the floor.
